The beautiful indoor bathtub is crafted from smooth Mikage granite, while the surrounding interior features an abundance of fragrant Hinoki (Japanese cypress) wood. Breathe in the therapeutic, forest-like aroma of the wood while enjoying a deeply calming soak.

Bath FacilitiesBoth “Juraku-no-Yu” and “Hinoki-no-Yu” feature one indoor bath and one open-air bath (Rotenburo) each.
Alternating Baths for Men and WomenThe men’s and women’s baths are switched during the cleaning period (1:00 AM – 1:30 AM). Please check the Noren (entrance curtains) indicating gender before entering. This system allows you to enjoy two different bath atmospheres during your stay—one in the evening and another in the morning.
Yukago /
Spa Basket
A traditional Yukago (spa basket) is provided in your room. Please use it to conveniently carry your towels and personal items to the public bath.
Dress CodeFollowing traditional Japanese culture, our hot springs are enjoyed completely without clothing. Swimsuits, underwear, and wrapping yourself in bath towels are strictly prohibited in the bathing area. This is a cherished custom to keep the pure spring water clean for everyone. Please embrace this authentic Japanese experience and relax!

Traditional Japanese Garden

Situated at the heart of our Ryokan, this central courtyard is an authentic Japanese garden meticulously crafted by master gardeners from Kyoto approximately 70 years ago. The sight of colorful Koi (carp) swimming gracefully in the pond brings a gentle, soothing flow of time throughout the inn. In autumn, the garden is beautifully adorned with vibrant foliage, allowing you to intimately experience the changing of the seasons. Enjoying this serene garden view from the comfort of every guest room is a unique luxury exclusive to Ryokan Ichinomatsu.

Private Karaoke Room “Matsunomi”

Experience a classic Japanese nightlife activity without leaving the ryokan! We offer a private karaoke room named “Matsunomi,” providing a fun and lively space to sing, chat, and make unforgettable memories with your family and friends during your stay.
